Semi-pioneering, home educating family of three living on 7 acres in the MidWest. These are the mom's thoughts/ramblings about our life, spirituality and whatever else pops up. :) Please feel free to post comments and/or questions. I will get to them as soon as I can. We would love to hear from anyone who is reading along here.

Hot Weather, A/C and Spiritual Food!

It is so hot and humid here. The heat just saps the strength out of us. We cannot use our A/C because our roof is covered with insulation and a tarp. Since the roof leaks, we cannot uncover our roof.

Dave is trying to get a window A/C unit that we bought last summer temporarily installed in the window to at least use on the days when I am home...which is almost every day. That way we do not have to worry too much about the RV being secure. I am not sure how he is going to do it since RV windows are nothing like house windows, but he is pretty creative, so I am sure he can come up with something.

I am so far behind on everything I need to do around here. At least I am taking some time to listen to some sermons by some pastor friends. Gosh, I so need them. They teach as a group and so what they teach is the culmination of a whole group of teachers coming together...not just one person. There is so much meat in the sermons that I almost feel as if I am choking on all the information and depth at times. Plus, the whole congregation gets involved and shares during open mike time at the end of each service. It makes for jam packed Sunday morning sermons. I really need the spiritual food, especially right now.

I did finally get some pictures off of my camera...but I am not sure when I will be able to get some here.

From our RV to your home...I hope your days are cool and breezy and that you are being spiritually well fed!
